CCNA backs push for review of bayfront development

Other residents joined efforts to a traffic study for a proposed development on the bay as the coalition of neighborhood associations of the city again unanimously,the city re- measure the expected impact of the project on promoting their meeting on Saturday.


The pressure that the traffic study conducted to assess the impact of Sarasota Bay Vue,a hotel/Scheduled to U.S.41 and Gulfstream Avenue,began in October.The inhabitants of the Tower Residences at The Ritz Carlton have more roads are measured in the traffic study requested because,even if the project moved through the Development Review Committee of the city.

Representatives from the center of Sarasota Condominium Association,Golden Gate Point Association and St.Armands Residents Association all said they believed the project would have a direct impact on their neighborhoods  and they wanted the city to have a look at it.These groups Have the breakthrough of the last week, when City Attorney Bob Fournier said it was likely that the city ask for a more detailed traffic study.
Before a meeting of the parties on Monday afternoon in connection with the development,wanted CCNA members emphasize that they believe that the intersection of U.S. 41 and Gulfstream is critical and that every project in this area should be thoroughly checked.

I think we would all benefit from having a look at that and see that we really do what we can at this intersection said Cathy Antunes,Member of the Association of Golden Gate Point. At the moment I have no concerns.
